Meet Isabel - a sweet and sensitive Chihuahua-Dachshund mix with a long body, tiny little legs, and the most adorable ears that give her endless character. Isabel is shy at first, but once she knows she's safe, she happily accepts love and gentle affection. She's very treat motivated, making it easy to build her confidence and trust one snack at a time. She allows being picked up and finds great comfort in calm reassurance and close companionship. Other dogs help her come out of her shell! Isabel was saved from euthanasia alongside her buddies Mattie, Chunky, and Skunky, and she's now learning that the world can be a kind, loving place. With patience, a soft approach, and some tasty treats, Isabel will continue to blossom into a devoted, loving companion. Sometimes the quietest pups have the biggest hearts.
