At around 2 years old and 26 pounds, Lewis is a great medium-small size with classic Beagle good looks and expressive eyes. He is active, social, and enjoys spending time with people, though he does have a slightly shy side when meeting someone new. Give him a little patience and he warms up nicely. Lewis has done well with the dogs he has met here. He has shown little interest in the cat room, though as with any new home, proper introductions are always recommended. Because he arrived as a stray, we do not know his previous household habits. A family willing to provide structure, consistency, and positive reinforcement will help him settle in and thrive. Lewis is neutered, heartworm tested, dewormed, current on vaccinations, and on monthly preventatives. He is ready to head home with an adopter who will give him the stability and love he deserves.
