This beautiful, petite girl is now finished with her mom duties and is getting ready for a new home. We think she's around 2 years old and she appears to be some sort of a spaniel mix. There could be some miniature Australian shepherd in her genetic make up and who knows what else. Ginger has been vet checked, chipped, and vaccinated and will be spayed on March 10th. Her fee is $150. Ginger is a fairly active young gal who loves the company of people. She is a bit of a "velcro" dog. She will need some regular exercise but is also content to chill out with someone. She is fairly well mannered but could use a little bit of basic obedience training. We do think she would do okay with a well mannered male dog of similar size. We have no way of knowing about cats. Kids over 5 would be best. NOTE: Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South. We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.
