Because Dunkin is a young, ACTIVE shepherd mix — and that’s a feature, not a flaw. Shepherd-type dogs are brilliant, loyal, and built to do things. They thrive when they have: - Daily exercise (the fun kind!) - Mental stimulation - A job, training goals, or adventures - A human who enjoys an engaged, enthusiastic companion Without that? They get bored. And bored shepherds invent their own fun. ;) Dunkin is a really good-natured, happy-go-lucky boy. He loves making dog friends — especially ones who appreciate a good wrestling match and zoomie session. Playtime is his love language. He’d do well with sturdy older kids who are excited about having a playful, energetic buddy to throw balls, explore trails, and burn off steam with. He’ll absolutely need a family willing to invest time into training — but here’s the good news: Dunkin is treat-motivated and eager to learn. VETTING: All of our dogs are cleared by a licensed veterinarian for transport and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped.
