She has adjusted very well since arriving. Fayni plays, rests comfortably, eats well, greets people, enjoys walks, and is doing great with pottying outside as she continues learning what’s expected. She is beginning to bond nicely with us. She has a fairly bold temperament — playful, curious, and brave, while still showing healthy caution in new situations. She responds well to voice tone (though she hasn’t learned a name yet) and is attentive and alert. When surprised, she may show some guarding or alert behavior, but she is responsive to guidance. Fayni can be left alone without whining or barking. She settles easily and rests quietly. She plays with her sister and can sometimes be the more dominant one — she is strong — but they interact well overall as friendly siblings. She appears eager to learn and willing to try new things. If she gets carried away, she responds quickly to a raised voice or even a simple hand clap. She strikes me as a pup who enjoys being challenged and is quite smart. Our cat corrected her once when she tested boundaries, and Fayni listened and backed off appropriately. With a firm, consistent leader, I’m confident Fayni will thrive.
