About Scout
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Scout is a very lovable German shepherd pup who thrives on being outdoors, soaking up belly rubs, and, of course, enjoying plenty of treats. This pup needs plenty of attention, as he experiences separation anxiety, and would do best with someone who is home most of the day to spoil him with affection. While Scout does have slight food aggression, feeding him in his kennel helps manage it, and he’ll thrive in a home with older children who are mindful not to drop food, since Scout loves being a "vacuum." He adores being called “Scout pout” and lights up when you offer him a "Bewwy Wub." Scout is making progress with kennel training, though he does his best to win you over with those big puppy dog eyes when bedtime comes. He continues to work on being friendly with other dogs and, above all, has a huge heart that makes it easy to become his closest friend. If you have the time and love to give to a forever friend, Scout is eager to meet you. Fun fact: with a date of birth of May 7, Scout is a Taurus, a sign well known for loyalty and a love of comfort! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
