About Bella
Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Bella is a sweet and spirited 2-year-old standard dachshund with a playful heart. She enjoys spending time with other dogs and absolutely loves playing outside, making her an active companion for an energetic household. Bella's journey began with a loving senior woman who, after a fall, could no longer care for her. While Bella is friendly, she does resource guard her bed, treats, and food when other animals are present, so some awareness and patience will go a long way in helping her settle in. She is looking for a home that can provide her with a securely fenced yard where she can play safely. Please note that a home visit and a vet reference are required for her adoption, ensuring she finds a safe and loving forever family. Bella is currently fostered in Chickasha, OK. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!

Questions about Bella
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Dachshunds are adaptable to many living environments, including apartments and houses, as long as they receive enough daily exercise and mental stimulation. They enjoy having space to explore but thrive when close to their family.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Dachshunds enjoy having a secure yard to play in, but they do well with regular outdoor walks and structured play even in smaller spaces. A fenced yard is ideal due to their curious nature.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Dachshunds can be good with children, especially when raised together, but supervision is recommended due to their small size and tendency to be possessive of their belongings.
