Stella landed at the Ranch after losing her person, having spent her final days at the shelter. The team rallied for her, making sure she landed softly. She’s a 13-year-old brindle American Staffordshire Terrier mix—35 pounds give or take—that genuinely lives for her humans above all else. Life has handed her a few gray hairs and some hearing loss, but her health is surprisingly good for a senior. Stella’s world spins gently: she ignores most other dogs, cats, and people, choosing instead to devote her attention almost entirely to the people she trusts. While she gets along with just about everyone, she once had a squabble with a dog in her foster home, so a calm companion or easygoing solo status suits her. She loves getting out for walks and will wag for any bit of affection. Give her a soft bed to retire to, somewhere quiet, and you’ll have made her golden years everything she deserves.
