🐾Beautiful Wylie is 1 year old • 50 lbs🐾 He's the perfect pup for an active adopter comfortable with herding/working breed energy!! He's German Shepherd mix (59%) with a dash of Husky (13%) + a blend of herding & guardian breeds (Wisdom Panel DNA completed by the foster! See last photo!) Wylie is that perfect “big puppy” age — still playful, still silly, but already showing what a loyal, devoted companion he’s going to be. Once he chooses you, you’re his person. Expect morning kisses, welcome-home kisses, and plenty of “please rub my belly” rollovers. 💛 ✨ The Highlights: * Gentle with adults & kids once warmed up • Excited to meet other dogs * Smart, quick learner — responds beautifully to voice + praise • Knows: sit, stay, free, come, with me, heel (in progress!), paw, up, off • Rarely barks • Great in the car (may drool a little, but no carsickness!) • Mostly housebroken (goes to the door — still polishing up the communication part!) • Crate trained when home alone • Sleeps loose in the bedroom at night Wylie is active and athletic — think long walks (he’s currently doing 2–3 a day!) and lots of mental enrichment. He loves his Jolly ball, puzzle toys, and anything that makes him think. He’s about 80% loose-leash walking like a champ and getting better every day. He can be a little shy at first, but he warms up quickly and turns into a total lovebug. He’ll thrive with an adopter committed to continued training, structure, and redirecting that leftover puppy energy.
