Brody has been an absolute joy to foster these last 5+ weeks. Watching him discover the world, learn new things, and grow in confidence has been such a gift. In a short time, Brody has mastered sit, shake, kennel, spin, and he's fully crate- and potty-trained. He's now working on leave it and stay, especially around tempting open doors, and he's picking things up quickly - he truly wants to learn and please. One of the things I love most about Brody is how he handles meeting new people. He's a complete gentleman - no jumping, no overwhelming energy, just calm curiosity and a wagging tail. He makes everyone feel welcome and comfortable, and people fall for him instantly. What makes Brody so special, though, are the little things that make him uniquely him: His soft, gentle snore when he sleeps The way his lip catches on his teeth, giving him a silly, charming grin His ears that sometimes "get stuck," turning him into the cutest, goofiest boy you'll ever meet Brody has had so many firsts with us - learning how to jump into the car, seeing his very first snowfall - and he meets every new experience with a curiosity that's genuinely fun to witness. He's great with the kids in the neighborhood and wonderful with my two dogs (which are about the same size as him). He's also incredibly good at keeping himself entertained: whether he's chewing a bone, tossing around a tennis ball, or "chasing" leaves across the yard, he finds joy in the simplest things. Brody LOVES food, treats, and his snuffle mat. He enjoys walks, sniff walks, and short runs - and he's always ready for a cuddle session when the day winds down. He'll tolerate a bath, though he's still not convinced that blow dryers and vacuums are necessary parts of life. Brody truly is the total package - smart, loving, playful, gentle, and full of heart. Anyone would be lucky to call him family.
