Luna and all her puppy sisters were owner surrendered to the shelter for being an unwanted litter. When another rescue took all Luna's littermates, they left her due to her being heartworm positive. We don't shy away from heartworm positive dogs, we take dogs from the shelter and find them forever homes no matter their condition. Luna is an excellent dog with a long life ahead of her, she enjoys playing with other dogs and she loves cuddles from her humans.
