Iris would do well in a home with space to run around and tire herself out, whether that's in a fenced backyard or on long walks in open areas. Iris is a very happy girl who loves having playmates! She does great with other dogs but needs time and space to get to know them, as her excitement level might be overwhelming for more laid-back pups at first. Once she settles in, she loves to play and wrestle with her dog friends and would do well with or without a canine sibling. The barn cat in her foster home comes inside to cuddle and wrestle with her! Iris has done great with children of all ages and loves their energy. She is a typical terrier who loves fetch and enjoys entertaining herself with toys, especially ones she can chew and destuff! Iris is a smart, loving girl who is eager to please. She is fully crate trained and house trained. She happily sleeps in her crate while her fosters are at work and has had zero accidents since coming north. Iris alerts when she needs to potty and walks great on leash, enjoying her daily walks around the neighborhood.
