Velma is mostly on the “professional lounger” side of life. She enjoys short bursts of playtime and a little zoom around the fenced yard, but her true passion? Cozying up as close to you as physically possible. Velma lives for couch time, belly rubs, and being your shadow. Velma has also been around cats and dogs, and is great with her four-legged friends as well. And then there’s her signature move — the air licks. Instead of covering you in kisses, Velma will gently lick the air all around your face in the most hilarious, affectionate way. It’s her special way of saying, “I love you,” without actually slobbering on you. Velma’s easygoing personality and affectionate nature make her a wonderful companion for someone looking for a calm, loving presence in their home, with a fenced yard for her zoomies. All adopters must pay their Labs4rescue adoption fee prior to the rescue shipping their dog. Residents of Massachusetts or New Hampshire are required to pay an additional $125 fee, which defrays the cost of their state's mandatory 48 hour isolation and examination by a licensed veterinarian.
