Sashimi is a handsome one-year-old black Lab mix weighing about 45 pounds. This sweet boy can be a little timid when you first meet him, but give him a little patience and kindness and you’ll see his gentle, loving personality shine through. Once he trusts you, he bonds deeply and becomes a loyal companion. Sashimi absolutely loves his walks and enjoys getting out to explore the world by your side. He does wonderfully with other dogs and is good with children, though he would do best with supervision around very small kiddos. He isn’t a fan of rough play, and lots of fast movement can make him a bit nervous — he’s more of a calm, respectful play kind of guy. He is both kennel trained and house trained, making him an easy addition to a home. While toys aren’t really his thing indoors, in the dog yard he’ll happily play a game of fetch with rope toys and show off his playful side. Sashimi is truly a great dog who just needs someone willing to give him a chance. With a little patience and a lot of love, he will blossom into the devoted best friend you’ve been looking for. All adopters must pay their Labs4rescue adoption fee prior to the rescue shipping their dog.
