About Lucky

Meet Lucky! This charming Boxer mix girl is feeling a bit lost after her owner passed away and her extended family couldn’t keep her. Lucky was once a cherished indoor family dog, but she found herself in an overcrowded shelter in York County, SC. Thankfully, the shelter reached out for help during a tough time, and now Lucky is safe with Worthy Dog Rescue. Lucky embodies everything you want in a companion: she’s sweet, affectionate, and easygoing, thriving in the company of her people. Her foster family describes her as an absolute dream. She’s house-trained, knows how to walk gently on a leash, rides calmly in the car, and can comfortably stay in her own space when necessary. She learns quickly, comes when called, and sits politely for treats. This girl is a world-class snuggler! Lucky loves to sleep under the covers with her head on your shoulder, give kisses, and roll over for belly rubs. Whether she’s following you around the house or enjoying a playful romp with her dog buddies, her easygoing nature shines through. She’s currently living with another dog and gets along well with her canine companions. Lucky’s curiosity makes her approachable when meeting new dogs, which could make her a wonderful addition to a home with another friendly dog or as your only cherished companion. While her history with cats isn’t known, she should do well with kind and respectful kids. After experiencing loss, Lucky deserves a loving forever home where she’ll feel secure and cherished. If you’re looking for a gentle friend to share your life and love, Lucky might be the perfect match for you! Click apply to start the adoption process.
