Ellie is a female Double Doodle who will turn 4 on April 22. Her owner was no longer able to care for her so she is looking for a new forever home. Ellie received an emergency grooming as she was matted to the skin and the mats on her feet and up in the pads of her paws were like iron gloves, making it very difficult for her to even walk. Once she grows out a little she will able to get a good grooming that she deserves and will be beautiful! When we took her out to the fenced-in field here and she discovered she could run and stretch her legs, she ran non-stop for 20 minutes! She was such a happy girl and you could see her shedding the stress and unhappiness her life had brought her until now. Kennel life still has her a little stressed but she will quickly acclimate to a kind and loving home. She seems fine with other dogs.
