Hey hey! I'm Blueberry, a 46-pound mixed breed bursting with happiness and energy from nose to tail. I wake up ready to go, ready to sniff, and ready to see what exciting thing might be happening next. My nose is basically my life coach - if it tells me something interesting is on the counter, in a cupboard, or tucked somewhere mysterious, I will investigate... thoroughly. I adore people and greet everyone like they're my long-lost best friend, complete with wiggly body and my famous tip-tapping happy feet. Honestly, if I could sit in your lap soaking up affection all day, I absolutely would. I do best when life is busy and fun because my brain is always running. Puzzle toys, stuffed Kongs, scent games - yes please! I need an active home that keeps me thinking and moving so I don't go searching for my own entertainment (which humans sometimes call "trouble"). Being alone makes me pretty worried, so a home where someone is around often would help me relax and feel safe. With guidance on manners and lots of reassurance, I'll thrive because I truly want to make my people happy. Under all my energy and anxious moments is just a giant lover boy with a permanent smile, a wagging tail, and a heart that wants to be as close to you as possible. My adoption fee of $225+tax covers the cost of my care and stay here at the humane society. All Pennington County residents must also pay an additional $8 licensing fee at time of adoption.
