I'm Nugget! I'm a 5-year-old, 15lb. Chihuahua-Pinscher mix with big dog energy in a little body. I love adventures, walks, yard zoomies, and a good game of tug-of-war! After playtime, you'll find me lounging in a sunny window or curled up in your lap (being held like a baby is my specialty). I have lived in the same home since I was a puppy so I have wonderful home manners and I'm fully house-trained. I've lived with another dog and even a cat, but I'd really shine as your one and only so I can soak up all the love. Meet Nugget! Nugget is a 5 year old, 15 pound chihuahua-pinscher mix that's looking for a new home. Nugget's always up for an adventure - he loves walks, running around in the yard, and playing tug of war. After getting some energy out, he loves to lounge by a window, soaking up some sun. He's an extremely affectionate little guy - he loves to jump on your lap to be pet, and be held like a baby, nuzzling into your neck. He's fully house-trained (has lived in the same home since he was a puppy), knows a few tricks, and is always willing to learn a few more if there are treats involved. He would thrive in a household with school-aged children who want to play with a dog. He does get along with other dogs, and cats, and lived with an older dog most of his life but because of his big dog energy he would do best in a household where he's the only dog. Small but mighty, Chihuahua-Pinscher mixes are confident, intelligent, and deeply loyal to their people. They love activity, thrive with structure, and form strong bonds with their families. With the right balance of play and affection, they make lively, devoted little companions.
