About Hamlet
**WE ARE ALWAYS IN NEED OF FOSTER HOMES** Homeward Bound Dog Rescue is an all volunteer rescue organization and all our dogs and puppies are in foster homes - we are not a shelter and do NOT have a facility where we house our dogs. For adoption information go to: www.homewardbounddogrescue.com. You must fill out an application online as we do NOT accept applications at our clinics. My name is Hamlet and as you can see, I am super cute. Foster mom says I am friendly and like meeting new people and dogs, although I am timid at first. I’m the most shy out of my siblings and I’m a bit afraid of my foster dad so you will have to be willing to work with me on that. I like to snuggle and I am a very quiet pup. I can be a bit bossy around the food with my brothers so best that I eat alone. I am about 80% housetrained and can sleep through the night in my crate. I’m also a bit nervous being outside so being comfortable with that will come with time and patience. Our adoption clinics are held one Saturday a month at our facility in Schenectady on John Street, located directly behind Boulevard Bowl (Erie Boulevard) from 10 am to 12 pm (directions are on our website). We require an approved application before we consider anyone for an adoption - so filling out the application is your first step. Once your application has been reviewed, you will receive an email invitation to attend an adoption event. Different dogs and puppies go up for adoption EVERY WEEK so please feel free to visit the site and click on the Petfinder link for updates as we are adopting dogs out in between adoption events. Puppies and dogs up to 2 years old are $395. Dogs over 2 years old are $295. 100% of the adoption fees go to help us save more dogs.
