Meet Heidi, a truly special girl with a gentle heart and a deep love for her people. She thrives on companionship and would much rather be by your side than doing just about anything else. Heidi listens beautifully and already knows commands like sit and shake, showing just how eager she is to connect and please. While she'll occasionally show interest in toys, her favorite activity is simply being with you, whether that's relaxing nearby or gazing thoughtfully out the window as she watches the world go by. Heidi's stunning cinnamon-colored coat makes her stand out, but it's her big, soulful brown eyes that leave the biggest impression. She has a calm, endearing presence and an adorable ability to fall asleep just about anywhere, in any position, making her foster family smile daily. She enjoys her meals and treats and settles down nicely when it's time to rest, even though the crate isn't her favorite place. She has done wonderfully meeting new people, including during her Dog's Big Day Out visits to local dog-friendly businesses, where she handled new environments and attention with ease and grace. Heidi has also done well with kids, other dogs, and cats, showing just how adaptable and loving she is. Chickens, however, are not her thing. Now settling into her foster home, Heidi is already proving to be a devoted, affectionate companion. As we continue to learn more about her, one thing is already certain, Heidi has so much love to give and is ready to find a home where she can be someone's loyal best friend.
