Because of changes in their living situation, I’m now in a foster home, looking for a soft place to spend my golden years. I promise I still have so much love to give. I may be a senior lady, but I’m pretty spry for my age! I walk beautifully on a leash and I still trot right along on my walks. I'm happy to be by your side and taking in the world at my own easy pace. I’m a quiet, easy-going lady with wonderful house manners. I’m always housetrained, and when I need to go out, I’ll gently nudge you and walk to the door to let you know. I know my basics — sit, stay, and down — and I’m very obedient. I aim to please my people. I’m happy to nap just about anywhere comfy, and I can ride nicely in the car if we’re going somewhere together. Truly, I’m just happiest being near my person. I love cats (yes, really!) and I do well with dogs who are calm, indifferent, or submissive like me. With strangers, I just need a moment to sniff and get comfortable before I fully trust — but once I do, I’m gentle and sweet. I like children too, especially when they’re calm when we first meet. Thunderstorms aren’t my favorite, and I may want to be close to you when the sky gets loud. I’m protective of my family — that’s just part of my loyal nature — but I’m not aggressive. I’m very gentle and can be handled easily. I just appreciate respectful boundaries. What I really want now is simple: a peaceful home, a soft bed, kind hands, and someone who will let me love them with my whole heart for the rest of my days.
