About Luna T
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Meet Luna, a delightful mix of Great Pyrenees and Basset Hound who’s known for her oversized heart and even bigger personality! She’ll greet you at the door with a joyful bark and her signature standing hug—she just can’t contain her excitement. When her people come home, she expresses pure joy: tears of happiness and bouncy greetings are guaranteed! Luna may bark at visitors initially, but she’s always quick to warm up and welcome new friends with gentle affection. Mealtime is a happy event for Luna—she’s not a picky eater, but her table manners are impeccable, so there’s no begging. Toys and bones are her favorites, especially when she gets to keep her treasures all to herself. She has a fantastic blend of playful energy and calm relaxation: walks fill her with excitement (and maybe a bark at passing trucks), but she’s working on her leash skills. Once the fun is over, Luna transforms into a snuggle enthusiast, curling up wherever her people are—on a dog bed, the couch, or right in your lap (even if she’s a bit large for it!). Luna knows her basic commands—including sit, shake, and heel—and is doing well on-leash. She’s house trained, uses the doggy door, respects household items, and is allowed on furniture. Her silly quirks, like chasing her curly-Q tail or spontaneous zoomies, fill her foster home with laughter. Luna is searching for a forever home where she can shower her new family with love, cuddles, and her unforgettable hugs. Fun fact: as a Scorpio, Luna is known for her affectionate loyalty and playful charm. Make their next chapter their best one yet.

Questions about Luna T
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Great Pyrenees/Basset Hound mixes do well in homes with a secure yard, as they enjoy both lounging indoors and having access to safe outdoor spaces. They are happiest in a home where they can socialize with their family frequently.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
This mix benefits from a moderate to large fenced yard to roam and explore but will also adapt well to daily walks if outdoor space is limited. Regular outdoor activities help keep them happy and healthy.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Great Pyrenees/Basset Hound mixes are known to be gentle and affectionate, but their size and playful spirit mean supervision is best with young children. They generally fit well in families with older children who understand how to interact respectfully with a bigger dog.
