Meet Cory! Cory is a 9-month-old, 46-pound pup who brings together playful puppy charm and a sweet, cuddly nature. Cory loves toys and is both treat- and toy-motivated, which makes him fun to engage with and a great candidate for continued training. He has a nice medium energy level-happy to play when it's time, but also perfectly content to nap and relax for a good portion of the day. This boy is very affectionate and truly enjoys being close to his people. He likes to stay right by your side and soaks up all the attention he can get. He walks well on leash and rides calmly in the car, making outings easy and enjoyable. Cory is still polishing his house manners. He had a few accidents while in short term foster, but for the most part he goes potty right away when taken outside. He may jump up occasionally when excited, but with consistency and guidance, he is learning quickly. In the crate, Cory does well when someone is in the room with him. When left alone, he may whine or cry, so he benefits from continued crate training and reassurance as he matures. Cory is a sweet, playful young dog who thrives in a home ready to guide him through the last stages of puppyhood while enjoying plenty of cuddles along the way. Cory has had positive interactions with other dogs. As always, we strongly recommend that resident dogs meet any new potential canine family members. If bringing a resident dog for a dog to dog test, please bring proof of Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines.
