About Nardo

Nardo is approximately 30 years old and between 30-35 pounds. Nardo appears housebroken, crate trained, very gentle, and affiliative. Nardo came to FURS with his siblings Rufus and Amy Lou. FURS holds monthly adoptions stands where those interested can meet our four-legged crew available for adoption. Our next adoption stand will be on February 21st, 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at Furbish Thrift in the Stratford Hills Shopping Center (2833 Hathaway Rd, Richmond). We can make alternate arrangements for meeting the FURS dogs but we would require an approved application for adoption. There is no fee or obligation with submitting an adoption application and applications can be completed online at www.fursdogs.com. A required step of our adoption process is to conduct a home visit. Hot and humid with temperatures regularly exceeding 90°F. Schedule walks for early morning along the James River where breezes offer some relief. Carry water on every outing and watch for signs of heat exhaustion, especially during Virginia’s notoriously humid August.
