Meet Lizzy! This 4.5yr old girl will steal your heart and super fast. Lizzy is everyone’s dream dog if you like a big polar bear. While she looks like a giant, she only weighs 64.5lbs and could stand to put o a few lbs. She is the most well-behaved and calm dog. She loves kids, dogs, cats and likely anything in between. Lizzy was coming to a foster to adopt but sadly after her arrival and a vet visit, we learned that her hit by car as a puppy was a bigger deal then she shows. Lizzy likely had a broken pelvis when she was hit by a car that caused her pelvis and hip to heal misaligned and incorrectly. You would never know given she jumps around and runs like nothing. She is not uncomfortable or in pain but she will likely need a home with few to no stairs and sadly her planned adoptive home has lots of them. In fact she’s not a fan of going up or down stairs anyway, so we figured she’s telling us what she wants.
