About Rex
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Meet Rex! At 8 years young and weighing 11 lbs, Rex is a spunky Wirehaired Terrier who proves age is just a number. He spent his earlier years with a loving owner, but after her passing, he’s searching for a new lap—and heart—to call home. Rex is house trained, walks politely on a leash, and adores going for strolls. He’s social with other dogs, loves doggy daycare, and has shared space with cats before. Sharing comes naturally to him! Treats and cozy laps are Rex's two absolute favorite things. He’s highly food motivated and thrives as a loyal lap dog, always ready to snuggle. Previously part of a bonded pair, Rex is now available for adoption on his own; he enjoys friends but appreciates calmer play. His lively, happy-go-lucky personality shines, but he feels most comfortable in a calm, predictable environment, so a home without children suits him best. If you offer stability and a warm spot on your couch, Rex will quickly become your devoted companion. He is up-to-date on vaccines, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, and is heartworm negative. Ready to meet this cheerful little gentleman and share your home with a loving companion? Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.

These terriers appreciate regular access to a secure yard or frequent walks but do not require a large property. Daily outdoor play or walks will keep them content and healthy.
