Milo
AvailableMilo is a small, adult, wirehaired terrier/Chihuahua mix with apricot and white coloring. Now neutered and up to date on vaccinations, he is house trained, doing well with going to the door when he needs out. Milo lives in Lexington, NC. He has some special behavioral needs, especially involving vet care and nail trims, so he’s best suited to a calm, settled adult household.
About Milo
Milo has had a tough run, having been returned from adoption three times, and he’ll need someone who can truly commit to him. He hates nail trims and vet visits, so anyone considering Milo should be prepared for a dog who needs gentle, special handling during those times. Milo is looking for a calm, child-free household, ideally a settled couple who can give him the stability and attention he deserves. After his previous owner gave him up due to a new baby, Milo came into foster care needing a lot of help, but now he’s neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Give him time, and Milo will reward you with love, kisses, and a willingness to learn the routine—he already goes to the door to signal when he needs to potty. A home with another small, preferably female dog might be a good fit, as Milo opens up once he feels secure. He’ll need an owner with a vet reference who owns their home. His adoption fee goes directly toward covering his medical expenses, and he arrives with a heartworm preventative. Milo just wants a warm spot on the couch and someone willing to brighten his days, making up for all the uncertainty he’s faced. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
