Meet Lainey AKA Lainey Belle AKA Lainey Sue AKA Lisa left eye Lopez AKA 100% Good Girl Lainey is approximately 9 weeks old and already one of the bravest little souls you’ll ever meet. She was surrendered to a high-kill shelter in Detroit with her left eye nearly completely detached. Veterinarians determined it had likely been that way for several days. We don’t know how it happened — and we don’t want to. What we do know is that she is safe now. Her damaged eye was removed immediately, and it hasn’t slowed her down one bit. Lainey doesn’t feel sorry for herself, and neither should you. She plays, explores, cuddles, and loves just like any other puppy — maybe even more. She also loves a good shopping trip to HomeGoods.  She is dewormed, microchipped, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines. She Is great with dogs of all sizes. She is great with kids. Lainey is resilient, joyful, and ready for a family who will see her not for what she lost — but for everything she is.
