Kaipo is a cute old guy who clearly has had a hard life and is looking for a quiet time in his later years. He’s a little creaky, joints and attitude. Likes to do his own thing. He is fine with other cats, not BFFs, but doesn’t get into arguments. Would be good as a solo. Kaipo likes chin scritches and has the cutest little old man voice- like he’s a pack-a-day smoker. Not looking for lap or cuddles, but likes to hang out with people, particularly if there is a potential he will get treats. He's a great napper but he also joys playing with the feather wand. He’s a polydactyl which he likes to show off with his cat sitting pose that he has mastered. We think Kaipo is about 12 years old. Being a senior guy and coming from a rough patch, he has the usual aches and pains of an oldie who has had a tough life. Now that he's in a comfy place with good food and a warm bed, he's doing so much better. His once a month shot for arthritis has given him so much relief that we want him to go to a home that will continue that treatment. And he will need a place outside where he can wander into a yard and find the best place to nap in the sun, when the sun is warm again.
