Garfield is very affectionate and loves to rub and receive scratches and pets. He has a calm demeanor and a delicate voice that he uses often. Garfield is a loyal friend and tends to bond strongly with one person. He likes to be near his person, patiently awaiting their attention. He will give a delicate pet with his paw or a sweet head butt when he wants your attention. Even though he is a mature boy Garfield loves to play with toys, feathers, and wands. Garfield does well with other cats but can get overwhelmed with lots of activity. He would do best in a home with children who are capable of respecting his space and can understand how to handle him. Garfield can get overstimulated with other animals active playing and is tends to be on the short end of patience.
