About Jake Wagging His
Jake is a striking Black and Tan Coonhound with plenty of energy and an eagerness to experience life. At around 1-2 years old, he has outgrown puppy chaos but still has a healthy dose of enthusiasm for long walks and adventures. He used to be underweight when first rescued, but with steady meals and care, he now tips the scale at 62 pounds and looks and feels fantastic. Neutered and up to date on all vaccinations, Jake has also completed heartworm treatment, so he’s set for a fresh start. Jake is a pro on a leash and loves riding in the car. He is social with other dogs and naturally curious about cats. He’s still working on his house training and crate training but is progressing well. Jake gets along with dogs and kids, making him a good fit for active families. He’s ready to leave his rocky past behind and join a family willing to provide the affection and care he missed out on early in life. Jake is ready to give back tenfold in loyalty and love.
