About Paprika
Meet Paprika! This girl is a 6.5 year-old yellow lab who spent the first part of her life in a puppy mill. She is ready to leave her breeding days behind and find her forever home! Paprika is an easy-going girl who gets along with all members of the family, including young children. She is still learning about home life, but appears to be house trained and is used to a crate. She sleeps quietly in her crate all night and when her humans are out of the house. She is curious about most new things in the house, but she won't do stairs and isn't a fan of car rides. Paprika loves being outside and especially loves the snow! She walks OK on a leash - she likes to follow and may need some coaxing from time to time. While not required, Paprika would certainly appreciate a home with another dog. She has surprisingly showed a lot of interest in playing with her foster dog brother. Another confident dog in the home would also help her to warm up to her new family more quickly. Cats are a different story. Paprika doesn't love her foster cat sister. While she doesn't case the cat or show any aggression whatsoever, she does bark (a lot) at the cat in her foster home. If you think Paprika might be a good fit for you, apply at camp companion! Adoption fee is $350+ tax; apply at www.campcompanion.org
