She is an alpha female – she likes to be “top” dog. Athena does well with more submissive dogs and could live with one with a proper introduction. She is fine with respectful older (12+ y/o) kiddos. Athena hasn't received much, if any, formal training and would definitely benefit from a round of positive reinforcement training classes. She's a smart pooch and would pick up on commands and tricks easily. She would do well in an active home – want to go for a hike or jog? Athena will be right by your side. Athena's only drawback is her prey drive for cats and other small animals. Definitely no cats or other small animals in the home for her!
