About Georgie May
Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Meet Georgie May! Rescued as a nursing mother, this sweet German Shepherd girl truly enjoys human attention and companionship. She gets along well with other dogs and cats and would likely flourish in a home with children. Georgie May has a cheerful nature, rarely barks, and gets along with dogs of all sizes. She sometimes shows a playful side when searching for snacks, but it’s always in good fun. She has grown in confidence by accompanying her foster family on outings to coffee shops and breweries, where she shines as a gentle, people-watching sweetheart. Although car rides and unfamiliar places can make her a bit nervous, she is making wonderful progress, especially with encouragement. Georgie May enjoys playing with toys and has adapted well to apartment living with a new potty routine. While she’s not a fan of being crated, she adjusts to routine and can always be found cuddled up on the couch. This affectionate pup is eager to find a family—kids and other dogs would be a plus!
