Meet Lola Lola is a gentle girl who is truly blossoming in her foster home after being surrendered to the shelter. While change can be scary, Lola is showing more of her sweet personality every day. She's naturally timid and prefers to come around on her terms — and when she does, it's incredibly special. Once Lola trusts you, she is affectionate, loyal, and so loving. She does well with kids but will need a little space and patience at first while she settles in. Lola would thrive in a home with other dogs to help build her confidence. She is not recommended for a home with cats. A yard to play in and a family committed to giving her regular exercise would make her so happy — especially since she loves toys! Lola loves her people and likes to keep them close and would love a family that works from home, is retired, or has someone home majority of the day. Lola isn't the type to rush into your arms on day one — but if you're willing to give her a little time, she will give you her whole heart.
