MEET SCOUT! 20 Weeks Old • German Shepherd Mix • Male • Professional Toy Tester & Future Best Friend! Meet Scout, an adorable, playful, and ridiculously lovable German Shepherd mix puppy who is ready to trade his foster home for a forever family of his very own! Scout is one of Mama Moon’s 10 miracle puppies, and his story almost ended before it even began. Mama Moon and her 10 newborn babies — nine boys and one girl — found themselves at a city shelter, where the entire family was scheduled for euthanasia. Thanks to dedicated fosters, Scout and his siblings have spent the last several months growing, learning, playing, and discovering just how wonderful life can be. And Scout has been taking his puppy education VERY seriously. Well, except when there are toys involved. Or balls. Or another puppy who wants to play. Then all bets are off! At approximately 20 weeks old, Scout is a happy, friendly, social little guy who loves people, enjoys playing with other dogs, and believes every toy deserves his personal attention. Scout’s impressive puppy résumé includes: Fully vaccinated Neutered Microchipped Crate trained Making great progress with potty training Beginning leash training Great with other dogs Friendly, affectionate, and playful Loves toys, balls, and puppy adventures On heartworm and flea prevention Scout has had a wonderful start thanks to his foster family, but he’s still a young German Shepherd mix puppy with plenty of growing, learning, and mischief ahead of him! He’s looking for a family who understands that puppies require patience, consistency, exercise, and training — along with a generous supply of toys and belly rubs. In return, Scout promises years of unconditional love, companionship, laughter, and probably a few mysteriously missing socks. Scout was given a second chance at life. Now he just needs someone to give him a forever home. Could that someone be YOU? Please consider adopting Scout and making him part of your family! Scout is currently fostered in Texas and available to transport to approved adopter in the Midwest, Northeast and Canada. $400 Adoption fee includes vaccinations, Spay/Neuter, microchip, deworming, $300 fee for Transport and vet/documentation requirements in preparation for transport.
