Keanu and Monte are bonded buddies who bring a lot of heart and silliness wherever they go. Monte, the black and white boy, is 7 and isn’t shy about voicing his opinions—mostly outdoors or if something catches his attention. He has a real knack for finding his way out and thrives best in a securely fenced yard or large outdoor kennel where he can run and explore safely. Both dogs aren’t keen on cats and can be timid around other dogs, but together they’re a loyal, happy pair. Keanu, a 3-year-old German Shepherd, and Monte are both neutered and very food-motivated, with peanut butter as a shared favorite. They’ve lived mainly in the country, always using a kennel or fence when outdoors, but indoors they’ve been trustworthy—no accidents or destructive habits, and they don’t need a crate. Neither has been indoor kennel trained, but both adjust well to home routines and love being with people, especially for treats and attention.
