Meet Atcha, a sharp, charming 6-year-old German Shepherd mix who’s at her best when she can put her training to good use. She loves spending time with other dogs and absolutely thrives when challenged to learn new tricks, adding more to her growing repertoire. With her obedient, clever personality, Atcha seeks people who enjoy working with and stimulating their canine companions—her training is the kind you can build on for years to come. She’s looking for a home willing to support her needs, especially her high prey drive. That means no small animals for Atcha, and a secure, fenced yard is essential since local wildlife just proves irresistible to her. While she’s social with dogs, her adventurous streak needs structure and boundaries. Atcha has weathered some health issues, mainly chronic ear infections caused by unmanaged food allergies. She’s currently being treated and will need to stay on a prescription diet to keep her allergies in check. Atcha will do best in a household with kids 12 or older where life is steady and she can settle in on her own terms. If you want a loyal, smart partner for adventures and learning, Atcha might be the missing piece in your home. She’s in Kalispell, MT, waiting for someone ready to meet her on her level. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
