About Kai

Kai has had a tough start but is ready for a fresh chapter. He’s a 5-year-old, 70-pound blue nose pit with a short gray-blue coat. Early on, he was neglected by his first owner and then tethered outside by the second—isolated, with little guidance or care. Despite a bad situation and an incident that stemmed from being teased, Kai showed a forgiving and sweet side. He got a proper defense, attended four weeks of board and train, and truly flourished with both people and dogs of all kinds around him. Kai is now neutered, up to date on vaccines, and house trained. He gets along well with cats and other dogs, and did well at his training center with both adults and children. Still, Kai will do best with an experienced owner, someone confident and patient who can offer him clear guidance and structure. He’s not for first-time dog owners, but for the right person, he’s ready for loyalty and affection. Your new best friend is just one click away.
