Irving is a small, neutered male Maltese/Yorkshire Terrier mix with a white and cream coat. He is still young and has some old injuries that have left him with special needs, but he’s up to date on vaccinations and is currently in Spring, TX. Irving isn’t house trained yet, so a little extra patience will go a long way.

About Irving

Irving has had a tough start: he was abandoned at a shelter, and when no one came for him, he found himself needing a new beginning. His rescuers discovered old breaks in his hips and pelvis that went untreated, which left one of his legs not working quite right. Irving's now getting regular acupuncture to try and restore some nerve function in that leg, and there’s cautious optimism it might keep improving. He’ll need a patient adopter willing to help him with simple exercises as he gets stronger—his team is happy to talk through his leg care with any interested family. Irving is good with dogs and children, and he also gets along with cats. He isn’t house trained yet, so expect to work with him a bit there. He is already neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Irving’s adoption fee is sponsored, and it includes heartworm prevention meds, premium microchip registration, and a safety harness for peace of mind. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
