Clare and Cosette don't ask for much... they were used to pretty bad conditions when we got them so they are just happy to be anywhere they are taken care of. These sweet girls were skinny, matted and covered with fleas and grime, but they quietly tolerated baths and trims. We don't know how old they are... vets think somewhere between 8 and 12 years old, but we really can't tell by the usually means because of their condition. Both have cataracts and, while Clare has some vision, Cosette is completely blind. Both were scheduled for dentals when we got them but neither had teeth that were salvageable so now neither has teeth. The girls are looking for a foster or furever home where they can stay together, They are fine on their own while you are at work or running errands - they hang out together in a dog bed in the kitchen of their current foster. Their suggested adoption donation is $200 and includes 6 months’ heartworm preventative meds, prepaid lifetime premium microchip registration, and safety harnesses.
