Location: Sioux Falls, SD Meet Baron! He's a lovable 1 year old pup who is ready for his forever home! His tail is always wagging and hitting everyone and everything! He is great with people and kids of all ages. He is also great with other dogs and cats according to the reservation he came from. We are working on his manners when he gets too excited he does jump and try to play bite but calms down quickly with redirection! He does great walking on a leash and loves running around the backyard. We have a 4 foot chain link fence and he has shown no desire of trying to jump over even if he sees a bunny or squirrel to play with. He plays with toys and doesn't destroy them immediately, mainly bites and carries them around, but there will be an ear amputation at some point. He's a huge couch potato and will lay around the house with you or in my crate. He sleeps through the night in his crate and gets in with a little treat motivation. Baron is VERY food motivated and can hear the fridge opening from across the house. He is also a great sous chef and will keep you company while cooking. He is great with basic commands of sit, paw and spin with treat motivation! He is relatively quiet and not a big barker, not even at the mailman. You will hear him if he needs to go outside, sees another reactive dog or needs his dose of attention! Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved.
