She came to rescue from a rural shelter after being found as a stray on a North Dakota reservation. When the rescue first saw her sweet, defeated face, it was impossible not to fall in love - and once you meet her, you'll understand why. Nova truly loves all animals. She previously stayed at a boarding facility on a farm and absolutely thrived around children, goats, chickens, other dogs, and even cats. She's naturally curious, kind-hearted, and takes everything in with quiet interest. She is house trained, does well in a crate, and has wonderful manners in the home. Nova is a quiet girl who loves being outdoors - she would make an incredible walking partner and adventure buddy. Whether it's a peaceful nature stroll or exploring somewhere new, she's happiest by your side. Nova adores affection and gives the sweetest kisses. She soaks up love like sunshine and is always ready for gentle pets and praise. She's still learning how to play with toys, but she's eager to learn - especially if treats are involved! Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved.
