With his soulful eyes and thoughtful nature, Yaro is the kind of dog who forms deep, meaningful bonds with his people. Yaro's ideal home would be calm and predictable - a low to moderate noise environment where he can feel safe and secure. Because sudden commotion can startle him, he would do best in a home without young children or small pets. He gets along well with other dogs and actually gains confidence from having a steady canine companion around. While another calm, confident dog would be a wonderful bonus, it's not required - Yaro truly loves his people, too. He enjoys going for leash walks and is learning that car rides aren't so bad after all. Once he trusts you, his playful and affectionate side really shines. He's crate-trained, well-mannered in the home, and fully house-trained - an easy roommate who appreciates a cozy, consistent routine. Yaro has been working hard on building confidence and continues to make progress.
