While she isn’t quite a snuggly kitten yet, her love for treats is helping her become more comfortable around people—she’s now letting her foster family pick her up and handle her without hiding or hissing, which is a wonderful step forward. Morticia prefers that people respect her boundaries, and she enjoys relaxing in the room with you, often choosing the couch or bed as her observation post. She is starting to appreciate gentle pets and affection at her own pace. Play is definitely one of Morticia’s favorite pastimes; she absolutely loves chasing the red dot and is an expert at hunting unwelcome bugs around the house. With treats as her major motivator, she will approach for a snack but still isn’t quite ready to be petted during treat time. Morticia gets along well with both kittens and older cats in her foster home, and she’s comfortable around dogs as well.
