Maya is a beautiful Plott Hound/Shepherd mix who’s about 1.5 years old and weighs around 50 pounds. Her coat is absolutely stunning—yellow, black, and brindle—and her personality is just as wonderful. Maya truly loves love, and her favorite thing is to offer her paws for attention and then roll right over for belly rubs. Maya recently discovered toys and now thinks they’re pretty fantastic! She learned how to play so quickly and entertains herself by tossing toys and even “kicking” them around like a pro. She also really enjoys her Kong and anything safe to chew, which makes her a fun and easy dog to keep happy. When it’s time to settle down, Maya is a dream. She goes willingly into her crate for bedtime and calm time as part of her routine. Maya is truly a Unicorn—Smart, Gentle, and incredibly well-mannered. She takes direction easily, catches on fast, and responds best to firm but quiet correction. She’s never been “naughty,” and she’s 100% potty trained. She loves lying in the sun outside on the deck and is just as happy cuddling up on the floor with her person. She also has excellent house manners: Maya doesn’t jump on furniture, and she’s been perfectly content with that routine. She is great with other dogs!
