About Maka

Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today. Maka is much like her sister Mele—curious, friendly, and absolutely adoring of cuddles and snuggles. She already knows how to sit politely for treats, a clever trick she seems to have picked up all on her own! Found abandoned on a busy road with her siblings, Maka is now thriving in a loving foster home in the country, where she’s preparing for a forever family. This playful Plott Hound mix (with a dash of Labrador and possibly more) is full of goofy energy and loves making a splash in the puppy pool. While she can be vocal and excited during playtime, Maka and her siblings are notably quiet when things calm down. One thing’s for sure—they’re set to grow into big, lovable dogs. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
