Because he can be a bit unsure of the world, he would really benefit from having a confident resident dog in the home to help show him the ropes and build his confidence. Meal times with Maverick may take a little patience. In his previous home, he was fed homemade dog food, so he can be a bit picky as he adjusts to new routines and kibble. With consistency and time, he continues to make progress. Maverick is looking for a strong, patient, and loving owner who understands that confidence takes time to build. He needs someone willing to guide him through his fears, celebrate his small victories, and show him just how exciting and safe the world can be.
