A Mal–GSD mix is a thinking dog. An active dog. A dog who will need consistent training, structure, and daily mental and physical exercise to grow into a confident, well-mannered companion. Puppyhood is sweet and chaotic and exhausting and wonderful — and it’s a 10–12+ year commitment. That means routine veterinary care, vaccinations, spay appointments, quality food, training classes, enrichment, and the time and patience to guide them through all the stages from baby teeth to steady adult partner. When applying to adopt one of our puppies, please remember : Up to the age of 8 months old, puppies cannot be left alone for a standard 8-9 work day. Arrangements will have to be in place for 4 hour intervals until the pups are at least 8 months old. Having someone with them every 4 hours until they are older greatly facilitates the housebreaking process as well as assists with the general socialization of your pup !
