Emmie
AvailableEmmie lives in Springfield, VT and is a medium-sized mixed-breed Labrador Retriever. She's around 3-4 years old, female, and fully spayed. Emmie is not yet house trained, but her vaccinations are current. While she doesn't have special needs, she is heartworm positive and will need some dental care in the near future.
About Emmie
Emmie is a true social butterfly and has one request: owners who love to cuddle. Around 3-4 years old and weighing about 38 pounds, Emmie came from a situation where she lived alongside 177 other dogs. Despite her rocky start, she's remarkably good with other dogs, though she's not the rough-and-tumble type and prefers calm companions with short bursts of play. Give her a tennis ball and she's set, but she's equally happy basking in attention from people. Emmie has a special knack for making friends—she once jumped a pen just to greet a crowd of 30 people with her whole heart. She'd thrive in a home as your only dog, but could also match a mellow canine buddy. Emmie is heartworm positive and can only be adopted by Vermont residents. She’ll need dental work soon, with a vet appointment already set for March 5th, but she's available to meet and adopt before then. If you have space on your couch and love to give affection, Emmie is ready to be part of your world. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
